In The Business of Transformation

Let's get straight to the facts: The medical system is designed for "sick-care"-- not wellness. What does that mean? It is not designed to prevent you from getting sick, it is designed to provide care after the fact. Our medical system also has doctors stretched so thin; notice how they never seem to have enough time for you? By no fault of their own, they do not have the means to really get to know you and deep-dive on all the various aspects of your life that contribute to your wellness or lack-thereof. But those factors are CRITICAL and having a professional who has the time to investigate these lifestyle factors in addition to/as a support to the medical professionals you work with is a GAME CHANGER because we address the root-cause and do not believe in long-term bandaid solutions (you see, if you keep a "bandaid" on too long, you're going to end up becoming more infected, with inflammation that spreads to other parts of the body). Now, you have more ailments. More to heal. More to spend. More to recover from. You get the analogy! And hey, you can't argue that it isn't serious when you put it that way!

"Bandaid solutions" don't necessarily just have to be medications that don't address root cause issues (and of course, some medications are imperative-- please note: I will never give medication advice and will always support your medical needs wholeheartedly), the term refers to anything that is a TEMPORARY "solution"; they are ALSO:

  • Appetite Suppressants

  • Fad Diets

  • Alcohol/Substance Usage for Coping

  • Surface level relationships

  • ExcessiveTV, social media

  • Getting stuck in cycles of "talking things out" but postponing action

A high-level overview of my personal story: I have extensive experience working for some big name companies, which means I also have NO shortage of experience battling stress, chronic illnesses, mental and physical fatigue, and so much more due the experiences that tend to come with being in corporate America. I also, like many, have faced my own fair share of experiences with personal loss, career transitions, weight fluctuations, navigating life after being a former athlete, anxiety/mental health, not having a desirable relationship with food, and so much more. In other words, I am someone who can relate. But I am also the story of someone who is living proof that you can change your story too. How did I do this? I worked on my mind as a foundation, with reasonable, actionable lifestyle changes and habit implementations that are backed by science (that's putting it extremely briefly, but the point is that I discovered the many resources that yield TRANSFORMATION!).

 

I believe in YOU, because I understand you are a bio-individual, multi-dimensional being and I will treat you as such. I am here to help you see all that you are and act as a professional guide to enhancing your nutrition, joy, self-awareness/connectedness, physical/mental/emotional health, and so much more. I am driven by creating a safe space for you and sharing my knowledge, education, and professional support so you can get closer to creating the life that you want and realize you always had it in you to do so.

  • Experienced working with both adults and teens. Successful in guiding a path towards more empowerment, understanding of self, and gaining clarity and direction around different goals (wellness, physical, mental, emotional, professional, etc.)

  • Personally experienced with coping in high-stress corporate environments and navigating complex job markets (factors that have high impact on health and total life wellness).

What you eat has direct correlation to not only your physical health, but your mental health, energy levels, abilities to cope with stress, and so much more! Many medical professionals simply don't have the time to teach these things to us, that's where I come in and we find out what is right for YOU (not the rest of the world!).

Movement is a great way to release dopamine in the brain and it doesn't have to be a stressful process! Movement, combined with joy, tends to have stronger effects in reaching your goals-- it's just a matter of discovering which type of movement brings you joy!
